The need for blood is constant-- in the U.S. a person needs blood every 2 seconds. The American Red Cross estimates that less than 38% of the eligible population donate blood or platelets.
If you are eligible and interested in donating blood, the Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive in Airport Park this Tuesday, May 29. Anyone looking to give blood or platelets can do so between 9am-1pm at 17 British American Blvd. Your donation could save up to 3 lives.
